1. [{56 / (-7) - (-17)} + 5 x (-7 + 5) - (-3)]

BODMAS is Bracket Of Division Multiplication Addition Subtraction
Therefore this goes as follows
[{56-(-17)}+5 x (-7+5)-(-3)]
-7
Lets simplify the symbols first.
[{56+17}+5 x (-7+5)+3]
-7
[{-8+17}+{5 x (-2)}+3]
[9+(-10)+3]
[9-10+3]
[-1+3]
2

So the answer is 2
