All the solutions shown below are done according to the BODMAS Rule.  

(i) 27-[5+{28-(29-7)}]

= 27 - [5 + {28 - (22)}]

= 27 - [5 + {28 - 22}]

= 27 - [5 + {6}]

= 27 - [5 + 6]

= 27 - [11]

= 27 - 11

= 16

(ii) 39-[23-{-(17-9+3)}]

= 39 - [23 - {- (17 - 6)}]

= 39 - [23 - {-(11)}]

= 39 - [23 - {-11}]

= 39 - [23 + 11]

= 39 - 34

= 5

(iii) -25+14÷(5-3)

= - 25 + 14÷(2)

= -25 + 7

= -18
