(1.5x+3)(1.5x-3) =  (1.5x)^2 - (3)^2 =   2.25x^2 - 9

(1.5x + 3)(1.5x - 3)

Here we use the formula (a+b)(a-b) = a² - b²

= (1.5x + 3)(1.5x - 3)

= (1.5x)² - (3)²  {(a+b)(a-b) = a² - b²}

= 2.25x² - 9
