SOLLUTION

______________________________

 {2}^{x + 3} = {4}^{x - 1} \\ = > {2}^{x + 3} = {2}^{2(x - 1)} \\ = > {2 }^{x + 3} = {2}^{2x - 2} \\ \\ since \: \: bases \: are \: same \: their \: power \\ \: must \: be \: equal \\ \\ x + 3 = 2x - 2 \\ or \: \: 3 + 2 = 2x - x \\ or \: 5 = x

hence, the value of x is 5.

hope it helped u!!
