(X −2)(X+2)(X2 +4)(X4 +16).

using (a-b)(a+b)=a^2-b^2

or (X^2 −4)(X2 +4)(X4 +16).

 using the same identity

or (X^4 −16)(X4 +16)

using the same identity

or (X^8 −256)

  • Simplify (x - 2)(x + 2)( {x}^{2}  + 4)( {x}^{4}  + 16)

\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Solution:-}

(x - 2)(x + 2)( {x}^{2}  + 4)( {x}^{4}  + 16)

 = ( {x}^{2}  - 4)( {x}^{2}  + 4)( {x}^{4}  + 16)

 = ( {x}^{4}  - 16)( {x}^{4}  + 16)

 =  {x}^{8}  - 256
