 \sf{{Given:-}}

 \sf{{x=2}}

 \sf{{To}} \sf{{Find:-}}

 \sf{{x(2x-1)+5}}

 \sf{{Solution:-}}

 \sf{{x(2x-1)+5}}

 \implies \sf{{2x^{2}-x+5}}

Now,

As we know x = 2

Substitute the value of x

 \sf{{2(2)^{2}-2+5)}}

 \sf{{=2(4)-2+5}}

 \sf{{=8-2+5}}

 \sf{{=8+5-2}}

 \sf{{=13-2}}

 \sf{{=11}}

Let us do the verification now :-

 \sf{{x(2x-1)+5}}

 \sf{{2x^{2}-x+5=11}}

 \sf{{2x2−x+5−11=11−11}}

 \sf{{2x2−x−6=0}}

 \sf{{(2x+3)(x−2)=0}}

 \sf{{2x+3=0}} \sf{{or}} \sf{{x-2=0}}

x=\sf\dfrac{-3}{2}or x = \sf{{2}}

Hence, verified.
