x²-3x-4/x²-4x+x²-4x+4/x²-4

x²-3x-4

=x²-4x+x-4

=x(x-4)+1*(x-4)

=(x-4)(x+1)

x²-4x+x²-4x+4

=2x²-8x+4

=2(x²-4x+2)

=2(x²-4x+4–2)

=2((x-2)²-(sqrt(2)²)

=2(x-2+sqrt (2))(x-2+sqrt (2))

I feel that there is typing error in the term.

I presume it is x²-4x+4

x²-4x+4=(x-2)²

Last term is

x²-4

=(x+2)(x-2)

Full expression is first term / second term / third term

This is ambiguous. If we take it as (a/b)/c then it becomes a/bc . If we take it as a/(b/c), ot becomes (ac)/b.

Option 1: (x-4)(x+1)/((x-2)²(x+2)(x-2))

=(x-4)(x+1)/((x-2) 3 (x+2))

Option 2: ((x-4)(x+1)(x+2)(x-2))/(x-2)²

= ((x-4)(x+1)(x+2))/(x-2)

I hope this helps u :)
