Simplify 6y(x^2-10x+21)÷(x-7)

6y \frac{ {x}^{2} - 10x + 21}{x - 7}

Two numbers which add up to -10 and multiply to -21 are -7 and -3.

So rewrite the above expression as

 \frac{(x - 7)}{(x - 3)}

6y \frac{(x - 7)  (x - 3)}{(x - 7)}  \\  = 6y(x - 3)

Cancel -7 to get 6y(x-3)
