Solution:

(cos^2 A - 1)/(sin^2 A)

Using trigonometric identities

sin^2 A + cos^2 A = 1

Simplify

cos^2 A - 1 = - sin^2 A

Therefore:

- sin^2 A/sin^2 A = -1

Hope this will help.
