Yes,it is true that simply increasing grain production for storage in Warehouse cannot solve the problem of malnutrition and hunger. Because if the grains are only stored and not distributed or given among the people how the people will get the food. And because of more storage of grains they can be damaged. So, what will be the profit of just increasing grain production in Warehouse.

I’m not an expert here but I’ve understood that the predominant reason for malnutrition and hunger worldwide is not scarcity of food but political problems and war, that is, the people's own governments or neighboring governments preventing the needed food distribution.
Notice how food is brought to “refugee camps.” Why are the people in refugee camps? Because they had to run from war conditions or political oppression. Why is the food brought to the camp, and not to people where the war is? You can’t get it there safely.
