=(2+√3)/(2-√3) + 1
Rationalising the denominator,
(2+√3)(2+√3)/{(2-√3)(2+√3) + 1
=(2+√3)² / (2²-√3²) +1. [as (a+b)(a-b)=a²-b²]
= (2²+√3² + 2*2*√3)/(4-3) +1 [as (a+b)² is equal to a²+b²+2ab
=(4+3+4√3)/1 +1
=7+4√3 +1
=8+4√3
