To simplify :  2\times 34 \times \frac{25}{42}

Solution :

  • To solve the above expression we will follow BODMAS rule.
  • It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.
  • Where,

      \begin{array}{l} \\B= brackets \\\mathrm{O}=\text { order of powers or rules } \\\mathrm{D}=\text { Division } \\\mathrm{M}=\text { multiplication } \\\mathrm{A}=\text { addition } \\\mathrm{S}=\text { subtraction }\end{array}

  • Above rule we will solve .
  • 2\times 34 \times \frac{25}{42}
  • 42 can be reduced to 21 by cancelling out by 2 Further we cannot cancel any of the numbers therefore we multiply remaining terms .

       = 34 \times \frac{25}{21}  \\\\= \frac{850}{21}

Hence , value of expression is \frac{850}{21}.
