( \sqrt{5}  +  \sqrt{3} ) ^{2}

{\mathscr{\underline{\underline{\blue{Solution}}}}}

Using the identity -

(a + b) ^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2} + 2ab

( \sqrt{5}  +  \sqrt{3}  {)}^{2}

 { \sqrt{5} }^{2}  +  { \sqrt{3} }^{2}  + 2 \sqrt{5} \sqrt{3}

5 + 3 + 2 \sqrt{15}

8 + 2 \sqrt{15}

 {\large{\mathsf{\purple{More\:Identities\:-}}}}

  •  (a + b)^{2} = {a}^{2 }+ 2ab + {b}^{2}

  •  (a – b)^{2}= {a}^{2 }– 2ab + {b}^{2}

  • {a}^{2}– {b}^{2}= (a + b)(a – b)

  • (x + a)(x + b) = {x}^{2}+ (a + b) x + ab

  • (a + b + c)^{2}= {a}^{2}+ {b}^{2} + {c}^{2}+ 2ab + 2bc + 2ca

  •  (a + b)^{3} = {a}^{3} + {b}^{3}+ 3ab (a + b)

  • (a – b)^{3}= {a}^{3} – {b}^{3}– 3ab (a – b)

  • {a}^{3 }+ {b}^{3}+ {c}^{3} – 3abc = (a + b + c)({a}^{2} + {b}^{2 }+ {c}^{2}– ab – bc – ca)
