Solution :-

~Here, we’re given the diameter of circular park and dimensions of rectangular park. The distance covered by both will be the perimeter of the respective parks. So, we’ll find the perimeter of both parks and the one with larger perimeter had covered more distance.

★  Perimeter of circle = πd

Where,

• π is 22/7  
• d is diameter

★ Perimeter of rectangle = 2( l + b )

Where,

• l is length  
• b is breadth

Finding distance covered by Simran :-

$\sf \implies 22 \times 4\; m$

Finding distance covered by Chikku :-

$\sf \implies 2( 35\;m + 25\;m )$

$\sf \implies 2 \times 70\;m$
