Simran went to the garden with her mother. She observed that leaves of all the plants were green but flowers were of different colours. She was astonished by the beauty of mother nature. She asked her mother for the same. Her mother replied that the cells of a plant contains organelles X having different pigments which impart different colours to the flowers leaves of plants and its fruits. Simran was not satisfied by her mother’s answer. Help Simran in clearing her concept by answering the following questions.
