Answer:

by using elimination method

15x-20y=-35

15x-6y=0

now subtract the equations

-14y=-35

14y=35

y=5/2

now substitute y in any equation

5x-5=0

5x=5

x=1

so the value of x and y are 1,5/2 . ok

Answer:

using elimination method

3x-4y= -7--------eq1

5x-2y=0---------eq2

---------------

multiply eq 2 by 2

3x-4y= -7

10x-4y=0

(-)  (+)  =(-) --------[change the sign of eq 2 so that we can eliminate y]

-----------------

-7x=-7

 x=1  ----------ans

put the value of x in eq 1

3x-4y=-7

3(1)-4y=-7

-4y=-7-3

-4y=-10

  y=10÷4

  y=5/2  ------ans
