 \huge \mathscr{\orange {\underline{\pink{\underline {Answer:-}}}}}

y-2x = 7............(1)

4y+x = 1............(2)

Now replacing y by its value in (2)

4(7+2x)+x = 1

28+8x+x = 1

28+9x = 1

9x = 1-28

9x = -27

x = 9−27

x=−3

Now y will be ;

4y + (-3) = 1

4y-3=1

4y=4

y=1
