Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two numbers be x and y ,where x be larger than y.

According to question:

[By substituting the values in: divident=divisor(quotient)+remainder]

3x=4y+5

(3x-4y=5)4

12x-16y=20---(1).

(6y=4x+2)3

18y=12x+6

-12x+18y=6----(2)

(1)+(2). [ Elimination method]

12x-16y=20

-12x+18y=6

2y=26

y=26/2=13.---(3)

(-12x+18y=6)/2

{-6x+9y=3)/3

-2x+3y=1---(4)

substitute. (3) In (4):

-2x+3(13)=1

-2x+39=1

39-1=2x

38/2=x

19=x.

Hence the two numbers are 19 and 13.

Hope helps you.
