Question-sin^2theta+cos^2theta=1

Answer=

Suppose Triangle ABC is an right angled triangle

Therefore,By applying Pythagoras theorem in triangle ABC

BC^2+AB^2=AC^2.........(I)

Dividing both the sides of (I) by AC^2

Therefore, BC^2+AB^2/AC^2=AC^2/AC^2

Therefore, BC^2/AC^2+AB^2/AC^2=1

Therefore, [BC/AC]^2+[AB/AC]^2=1

Therefore,(sintheta)^2+(costheta)^2=1....[(sintheta)^2 is written as sin^2theta and (costheta)^2 is written as cos^2theta]

ANSWER= Sin^2theta+cos^2theta=1

Hence Proved...
