sin^20*+sin^70*=1* is this correct statement. give reasons

No because value of sin 20 and sin70 cannot be added to get 1

sin^20°+sin^70°=1.
from lhs,

cos^70°+sin^70°=1(【sin^(90°-70°)=cos^20°

so Lhs=Rhs=1. (sin^2a+cos^2a)=1

so this statement is correct .
