Answer:

sin² A + cos² A = 1

but, sin² A = 1 - cos² A

so if Angle A = 90°

Then sin²A = sin² 90° = 1

cos ² A = cos ² 90°= 0 ---(i)

Therefore,

sin² A + cos² A =1

sin² A + cos² 90°= 1 [Taking Angle A = 90°]

Putting the values from eqn (ii),

sin² A + 0 = 1

sin² A = 1 [proved]
