sin^4 x - cos^4 x = 1- cos^2 x

Hey !!!

we know that a² - b² = ( a + b ) ( a - b ) same here


sin⁴x - cos⁴x =( sin²x + cos²x ) ( sin²x -cos²x )

=> 1 ( sin²x - cos²x )

=> ( 1 - cos²x - cos²x ) •°• 1 - cos²x = sin²x

hence , ( 1 - 2cos²x ) Answer..

please check out ur question . I think given RHS is wrong .
