sinA/1+cosA
= {√ (1- (cosA)^2)} / 1+ cosA
={ √ (1+cosA)(1-cosA)} / 1+cosA
=√ {(1-cosA) /(1+ cos A)}.............(1)
taking r.h.s.
cosecA- cot A
=(1/sinA) - ( cosA/ sinA)
=(1-cosA)/sinA
=(1-cosA) / √ (1- (cosA)^2)
=(1-cosA) / √(1-cosA)(1+cosA)
= √ {( 1-cosA)/(1+cosA)}.....................(2)
hence , equivalence proved
