sin ¢ = 1/2 = Perpendicular / Hypotenuse

Perpendicular = 1 and Hypotenuse = 2.

By Pythagoras theroem,

( Hypotenuse )² = ( Perpendicular)² + ( Base )²

(2)² = (1)² + (Base)²

( Base)² = 4 - 1

Base = √3.

Therefore,

Cot ¢ = Base / Perpendicular = √3/1 = √3.

hello mate!.......

given.........

take.......theta = x(here \: not \: possible \: write) \\  \\ sinx =  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\ we \: know..... \\  \\ sin {}^{2} x + cos {}^{2} x = 1 \\  \\ ( \frac{1}{2} ) {}^{2}  + cos {}^{2}x  = 1 \\  \\ cos {}^{2} x = 1 -  \frac{1}{4}  \\  \\ cos {}^{2} x =  \frac{3}{4}  \\  \\ cosx =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}  \\  \\ cotx =  \frac{cosx}{sinx}  \\  \\  \\  cotx =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}  \times  \frac{2}{1}  \\  \\ cotx =  \sqrt{3}
HOPE IT HELPS U DEAR........
