Let's consider a right ΔABC with ∠B = 90° and ∅=∠A.
Now sin A = BC÷AC
So, BC=3units and AC=7units.
By Pythagoras theorem, AB = √40
So sec∅ = 7/√40
And cot∅ = √40/3
