Answer:

sin θ + cos θ = ✓2

Squaring on sides we get,

(sin θ + cos θ)² = (✓2)²

sin²θ + cos²θ + 2sinθcosθ = 2

Now, sin²θ + cos²θ = 1

So, 1 + 2sinθcosθ = 2

2sinθcosθ = 1

Now, 2sinθcosθ = sin2θ

sin2θ = 1

We know, sin 90° = 1,

sin2θ = sin90

2θ = 90

θ = 45°

Hope it helps you!!
