First method is to reduce this expression by applying trignometric formula and then calculate time period.

Second method is -

Time period of sinwt = 2π/w

Time period of cos2wt = 2π/2w

Time period of sin4wt = 2π/4w

So time period of sinwt + cos2wt + sin4wt = (LCM of numerators)/(HCF of denominators)

= (LCM of 2π, 2π, 2π)/(HCF of w, 2w, 4w) = 2π/w.
