sin² 60 + 2tan 45 - cos² 30

∵ ( sin 60 = (√3/2)

tan 45 = 1

cos 30 = (√3/2) )

Solution :-

Now, by substituting the values~

(√3/2)² + 2(1) - (√3/2)

3/4 + 2 - 3/4

= 2

So, the value of Sin² 60°+2 tan 45°-cos² 30° is 2.
