Hii mate

''thanks for asking this question the answer of the given question is :

TO PROVE: sin^2 + cos^4 = sin^4 + cos^2

_______________PROOF_________________

LHS = sin^2 + cos^4

= 1 - cos^2 + cos ^4

= 1 - cos^2 ( 1 - cos^2)

= 1 - cos^2 * sin^2 ......... Eq. 1

RHS =

sin^4 + cos^2

= sin^4 + 1- sin^2

= 1 - sin^2 ( 1-sin^2)

= 1 - sin^2 * cos^2

= 1 - cos^2 * sin^2 ......... Eq.2

Hence : eq1=eq2 => LHS=RHS (Proved)

HOPE IT HELPS YOU ALOT.......
