 { \sin }^{2}  \alpha  +  { \cos }^{2}  \alpha  = 1

 \sin^{2}  \alpha  = 1 -  \cos^{2}  \alpha

 \sin \alpha  =  \sqrt{1 -  \cos ^{2}  \alpha  }
