differentiate wrt x
dy/dx =g(x).df(x)/dx+ f(x).dg(x)/dx
now,
y =sin2x .cos4x
differentiate wrt x
dy/dx = sin2x.d(cos4x)/dx+cos4x.d(sin2x)/dx
=sin2x.4(-sin4x)+cos4x(2cosx)
=2cos4x.cos2x-4sin4x.sin2x
use concept ,
