(a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab

now comes to ur question

sina+coseca=2

square both side

(sina+coseca)^2=2^2

sin^2a +cosec^2a+2sina*coseca=4

sin^2a+cosec^2a+2=4

hence
sin^2a+cosec^2a=4-2=2

ur answer is 2
