Since 100 kg = 100 kg, both are equally heavier. 100kg cotton will be more heavier than 100kg iron because upthrust acts on both cooton as well as iron. Since cotton is of less density than that of iron therefore upthrust will be more whereas upthrust is less on iron compared to cotton.
