Hey mate,

First of all Solving numerator,

Cos^2x(cos^2x+sin^2x) + sin^2x

We know,

Cos^2x+sin^2x = 1

Then plugging in the values,

= cos^2x(1) + sin^2x

= 1

Solving denominator,

= Cos^2x + sin^2x(sin^2x + cos^2x)

= 1

So the given value = 1/1

= 1

Hope this helps you out!
