No absolutely not if we start from rest and do our common walking motion. It is not possible as when friction is eliminated the component of friction that is necessary for our easing is not there and hence we cannot walk. Moreover when friction is not there or body and the surroundings become one system and we cannot apply a force in the internal system that will bring a change.
