Even if Mexico hold election after every six years to elect its President but it is not called a democratic country because-

1. The ruling party  i.e, the PRI only wins the election every time . It also uses dirty tricks to win the election. hence , Fair election is not conducted.

2. The government employees  are made to attend its party meeting and the teachers are forced in convincing the parents to vote for the PRI.

3. The media highlights the weakness of the opponent party but not of the ruling party.

4.The polling booths are sometimes being shifted from one place to another place , such that it causes difficulties in people for casting their votes.

5.Manipulation and impartial elections are been conducted. Hence, fair elections are not conducted.
