It isn't liquid as each grain has a shape and is solid.
- Sand is a grainy substance that is composed of tiny mineral fragments.
- It is a solid that may be poured like a liquid and mould itself to the proper shape of the standard container in which it is typically placed.
- Sand is, nevertheless, a solid because each grain of sand possesses a distinct form that it maintains.
- Because each grain in active substances like sand, salt, and sugar retains its unique structure when they are poured from a container, they will build up on the floor or a tabletop.
- Since they naturally have no complex structure, liquids cannot typically form a pile when they are poured over the same surface.
