Unicellular organisms do not have specfic organs because their surface or cell membrane is in contact with surrounding environment.

Unicellular organisms are the organisms having only one cell in their body. They do not have large number of cell organelles and not even well defined nucleus.

Since they are unicellular their whole surface is in contact with surroundings and hence they do not need organelles to perform specific functions.

These organisms intake food by the process of phagocytosis and respire by diffusion of gases.
