Answer:

When displacement is zero, particle may be at rest, therefore, distance travelled = 0. But displacement can also be zero,if final position coincides with the initial position after some time,but distance travelled will not be zero.

Answer : If displacement of a particle is zero then it is not necessary that displacement should be also zero.

Because Distance is total actual distance traveled by the body. and where as Displacement is the shortest path travelled by the particle.
