sinx÷1+cosx = tan x÷2 how ??​

Proof :

∴ L.H.S. = sinx/(1 + cosx)

= { 2 sin(x/2) cos(x/2) } / { 2 cos²(x/2) }

= { sin(x/2) } / { cos(x/2) }

= tan(x/2) = R.H.S.

Hence, proved.

Rule :

• sin2x = 2 sinx cosx

• cos2x = 2 cos²x - 1
