Sir, i was just wondering if vibrations can travel in solids then why don't astronomers who are in space, use a rod. They can just put it on their HELMET (INSIDE WHICH THEY HAVE AIR.) and the vibrations inside their helmets can travel into to the rod's particles and they can talk. IS THIS POSSIBLE?
