the opposition in the electron due to the collision of electron with electron, atom and ion specific resistance called resistivity
resistance depends upon resistivity
resistivity is equal to length and area

the difference between resistance and resistivity is that resistance is the opposing force to the flow of current it is good as it will maintain p.d and every other metal or alloy have a specific resistance of its own . this specific resistance is known as resistivity.
Resistivity is the unit resistance of a conductor of unit length and unit area of crossection.
