This is completely false!! Sirajuddaulah was betrayed by Mir Jafar who was corrupted by Robert Clive. Robert clive has promised Mir Jafar that he would make him the next nawab if he helped eliminate Sirajuddaulah in the battle of Plassey. Mir Jafar had ended up not showing up and Sirajuddaulah was defeated by Robert Clive who then made Mir Jafar his puppet ruler.
