In English the sentences are active or passive.

Voice:-

Voice is the form of the verb with donates whether subject does the work or something is done to the subject .

• When subject does something in a sentence it is said to be in Active voice.

Subject+Verb+ Object

• When something had done to the substance in a sentence it is said to be in Passive voice.

Object + Verb +By + Object

Rules for Changing Active voice into passive voice:-

➡️The object of the verb is changed to the subject position and the subject to the object position.

➡️Verb in active voice change into passive voice .

➡️While changing we have to be aware of verb .

➡️The object in active voice becomes subject in passive voice .

➡️The subject in active voice becomes object in passive voice .

➡️Verbs in present continuous tense past continuous tense and future continuous tense cannot be changed into passive voice .

➡️In passive voice "By" is placed before the object.

➡️If there are modals in the sentence, then the form is $\boxed{\rm{modal + be + past \: participle}}$modal+be+pastparticiple modal+be+pastparticiple.
