Answer:

So for 5 days both Sita and Gita worked together. We know that they can complete the whole job in 10 days so they completed 5/10 = 50% of the work - leaving 50% to be finished my Gita alone. But we know that she does it in 15 days (complete 50% of the work)

so it will take Gita 15 days/ 0,5 = 30 days to do the whole job alone.

So in order to calculate Sitas time to do this alone we shall let x = to Sitas time relative to Gita

10 days ( Gita + Sita) = 30 days

10 ( 1 + x ) = 30

10 + 10x = 30

10x = 20

x = 20/10 = 2

so Sita is twice as efficient as Gita and therefore she would complete the work in half the time it took Gita to do it.

So 30/2 = 15 days

It would take Sita 15 days to do this alone
