Sita is 6 yr older then her freind Ashish.Sita's father is twice as old as Sita and Ashishis twice as old as his sister.The age of Sita's father is 39 years more than the age of Asish's sister.Find the ages of Sita and Asish

Let ashishs sister age be x
Ashish age 2x
Sitas age :- 2x+6
Sitas father's age 2(2x+6)
By problem x+39=2(2x+6)
=x+39=4x+12
4x+12=x+39
= 4x-x=39-12
3x=27
X=9
Sitas age is 9*2+6 = 24
Ashish age is 9*2 =18

Let Sita's father age be z
A.T.Q. 2x=z.... (2)
Let ashish sister age be w
A.T.Q. 2w=y......(3)
Now , w+39=z.....(4)
From 2,. 2x=w+39
From 1 and 3, 2y+12=y/2+39
now 2y+12=y+78/2
4y+24=y+78
4y-y=54
y=18 years
From 1, x=24
Hence sita is 24 yrs and Ashish is 18yrs
