Six points are marked on a straight line and five points are marked on another line which is parallel to the first line.
How many straight lines, including the first two, can be formed with these points?

Points on the first line =6

Points on the second line =5

To form new lines , we need one point each from each line  

Selection/number of lines  

6 *C*1  .  5* C*1=30

Total number of lines including the old lines =30+2=32
