Six’s maximum and minimum temperature can also known simply Six’s thermometer.

Six’s thermometer was invented by a British scientist named James Six. The interesting thing about the Six’s thermometer is the same basic design that was designed by six has been used to still this day.  

The thermometer was designed to record the maximum and minimum temperature that reached over a period of time.

Six’s thermometer is used mostly in meteorology and horticulture studies.

It consists of a U-shaped glass tube filled with mercury in order to find the maximum temperature on one side and minimum temperature on the other side.
