six square tiles each of sides 1 m are fitted on a piece of land 5 m long and 4m wide. Calculate: (i) The total area of tiles . (i i) what is the area of remaining part of the land?

total \: areaof \: tiles = 6 \times 1 {}^{2} \\
so \: area = 6m {}^{2}
area of whole land L×B (area of rectangle)
=5×4=20m
area of reamaing part=area of land - area of tiles
=20-6
=14m
