First we can find the total resistance in the

circuit,



We know that.




For parallel combinations,

 \frac{1}{rp}  =  \frac{1}{r1 \:  }  +  \:  \frac{1}{r2}


r1 = 2 ohm .

r2 = 2 ohm.



Therefore,

 \frac{1}{rp}  =  \frac{1}{2}   +  \frac{1}{2}

 \frac{1}{rp}  =  \:   \frac{1}{1}

rp \:  =  \: 1 \: ohm


Total voltage in circuit,


V = 6 V.



We know that,

i \:  =  \:  \frac{v}{rp}

i \:  =  \frac{6}{1}

i \:  =  \: 6 \: ampere
